Congratulations of Dr. Drew and Dr. S. Mark Young for making the NY Times and LA Times best seller lists!

Today was a long day. Started with the phone ringing at 5:45 am with media requests. Had Dr. Drew in NY doing press for his MTV show "Sex... With Mom and Dad." He did a full episode on The Tyra Banks Show. Then Dr. Drew appeared on Fox Red Eye. Tomorrow he is talking with Matt Laurer about the octuplets at 7:30 on the Today Show and at 9 am he is back to talk to Meredith about "Sex... With Mom and Dad." Later in the afternoon he will tape a segment for CNN DL Hughley Breaks the News that will air Saturday.

RELATIONSHIPS
Hollywood is all about relationships. Who you know is as important as what you know. When it comes to publicity there is nothing like the power of long standing relationships built on honesty and trust. Journalists and clients need to know that you will deliver. You have to actually do what you say you are going to do. No dropping the ball.

The end of another long day in the world of publicity. I had a client holding a press conference in Washington D.C., another client booked on the Tyra Banks Show, and a client being profiled on Nightline. In between I squeezed in a meeting with Vh1, took calls from agents, and edited the book jacket flap of a clients new book. I also received an invitation for clients to attend a "gifting suite" in conjunction with the Golden Globes and other upcoming award shows.

My Life In Hollywood
I have been a Hollywood Insider for nearly 20 years. These are my stories...
I've always been the gal behind the scenes. The person who makes the stars shine. I've worked in the big agencies like Burson-Marsteller and Rogers & Cowan, movie studios like 20th Century Fox, television production companies, and boutique PR firms. I've worked on Broadway touring shows, movies, hit television shows, the Oscars and every major awards show. I've booked my celebrity clients on Oprah, Larry King Live, The Today Show, The View, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, and almost every media outlet imaginable. You've seen my clients in Rolling Stone, Playboy, People, O Magazine, the LA Times, The NY Times, and the National Enquirer to name a few.
It's been interesting and I've learned a lot about people, especially people who happen to be celebrities, along the way.
